Global Services is in the business of construction. The company was initially set up and registered as a Sole Proprietorship Enterprise in January of 1986. Over the years, it has been upgraded to the status of Premier Contractor. In January 2007 it was incorporated under the Companies Act as a Limited Liability Company. Global Services undertakes all building and civil engineering works and also does refurbishment of existing structures. It does some aspects of road construction repairs and water supply systems. The workshop is situated in the same premises as the office and undertakes woodwork, metal work and block production. Our clients include international organizations, non-governmental organizations, government agencies, private companies and private individuals.

In 2004, Global Services established a partnership with a Sierra Leonean electrical engineer to establish, RCD Solar Ltd

Personnel

The total staff strength is presently eighty-five. This does not include sub-contract workers and casual labour, which make up the bulk of the work force. It has qualified engineers and foremen of varied experiences in building and civil engineering works. The Managing Director, Mr. Leslie Nicol, is himself a professional civil engineer with over forty years experience in construction, working within and out of Sierra Leone
